Wonderful hotel with consistently courteous staff from the receptionist to the cleaning lady and large and well heated rooms. Marvellous location near a pedestrian precinct, with nice gardens. Again, walking distance to Dad's Army Museum.

The rooms are reasonably priced and the English breakfast has a variety of dishes. The setting is lovely and beautiful, just off the center of town. The restaurant is good and the location is perfect for the Dad's Army walking tour.
